LXCs offer incredible flexibility, security, and most importantly speed to market. In this first video tutorial I walk you through the basics of downloading the Ubuntu Linux Desktop software, show you how to build a VMware Ubuntu virtual machine, install the LXC software required to start building LXC, and then we close out the video by building a basic LXC using the Ubuntu template and look at a few LXC-specific commands to display information about our new container. This series on LXC will be taking a very deep dive into LXC networking with a focus on ALL LXC networking types: none, empty, phys, veth, vlan, and macvlan (private & vepa). The 2nd video will pick up right where this video leaves off and start by looking into the subtleties of veth networking with LXCs! This series will end with showing you how to run your own Apache web server inside of an LXC! Kubernetes cluster is very powerful container orchestration system and with working with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), it makes it supper easy to handle many of the complexity of Kubernetes, like abstract to deal with masters as it has hosted control plane, easy to upgrade to newer version of Kubernetes, also easy to scale up or down Kubernetes pods and nodes. Some points that will be covered in the video: It will be a walk-through start by creating Azure DevOps project with a sample .NET core application, then install Kubernetes extension from Azure DevOps market place. This extension will be used to communicate Azure Kubernetes Service with Azure Container Registry. Create and configure four Azure resources namely Azure container registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL server and Azure SQL DB Configure Azure pipeline for Build and Release pipelines: we will provide authorization from Azure resources such as AKS and Azure Container Registry to the build and release definitions.
