The scope and the vast number of resources to which policy should be applied makes it so. Current technologies in this area include OPA and OPA Gatekeeper, which bring to table the ability to discreetly define policies around workflows such as access, security, licensing and auditing. Kubernetes is becoming the standard platform for deploying applications in the enterprise. The Helm project provides tooling for packaging and an extensive catalog of ready to run applications. However, deploying applications in production requires much more: monitoring, logging, certificate management and so on. The community has adopted a de-facto ‘production stack’ that includes popular projects such as Prometheus, Vault, ElasticSearch, Fluentd and others. Unfortunately, putting together this basic plumbing is not standardized, and results in a lot of wasted, duplicated efforts. This session will introduce the Kubernetes production runtime, an open source stack that can simplify and automate production deployments, and explain how it relates to Knative and Gitlab's Autodevops. In SQL Server 2012 we were introduced to Columnstore indexes; In SQL 2014 the cardinality estimator changed. With SQL Server 2016 we were given query store to allow us to get more insight into our performance pains. SQL Server 2017 gave us Automatic Tuning and Adaptive Query Processing to help automate performance improvements. Контейнеры позволяют разделить ресурсы физического сервера между выполняемыми процессами. При этом контейнеры более легковесны, чем виртуальные машины. Но насколько они безопасны? В своем докладе Алексей рассмотрит возможные варианты, как процесс внутри контейнера может выйти за его пределы и получить доступ к данным физического сервера и других контейнеров.
