SLO-Based Observability For All Kubernetes Cluster Components - Matthias Loibl, Polar Signals & Nadine Vehling, Grafana Labs Speakers: Matthias Loibl, Nadine Vehling In this talk, Nadine and Matthias will give an introduction to Pyrra, a project that aims to make Service Level Objectives (SLOs) with Prometheus manageable, accessible, and easy to use for everyone. Nadine will talk about the project approach and findings for creating an easy-to-use observability tool. Matthias will then walk the audience through setting up a Pyrra instance on Kubernetes and how to connect it with either Prometheus or Thanos. After a successful deployment every component of the cluster will get an SLO, starting with etcd, the Kubernetes API server and kubelet, CoreDNS, and at the end Prometheus and Pyrra itself. In the end, a demo will showcase an outage in the cluster and what the alerting will look like, discussing how the lives of on-call engineers have been improved.教育系エンジニアのやっすんが、今週のニュースについて解説します! ▶︎目次 00:00 オープニング 00:30 Next.js 11 リリース 02:55 Google Search Console Insightsリリース 03:39 Docker デスクトップ 3.4.0リリース 04:08 Cloud DNSリリース 04:55 AWS Proton リリース 06:39 エンディング ▶︎Twitterフォローお願いします! https://twitter.com/yassun_youtuber ▶︎Qiitaはこちら! https://qiita.com/yassun-youtube #nextjs #docker #google #k8s #GoogleConsoleInsightNesse vídeo nós mostramos todo o passo a passo inicial para você que está começando a trabalhar com Kubernetes e containers. [eventID:15230]Mofizur Rahman Developer Advocate @ IBM Kubeflow is a machine learning toolkit for Kubernetes where users can develop, deploy, and manage ML workflows in a scalable and portable manner. Deploying and maintaining it can be a bit tricky since Kubeflow is composed of many components such as notebooks and pipelines and their potential configurations. This makes the barrier to entry to Kubeflow very high and make it difficult for teams to adopt Kubeflow. To help alleviate some of these deployment woes the Kubernetes Kubeflow Operator was created. It automates the deployment, monitoring, and management of Kubeflow as a whole. In this session, users will learn how they can best leverage the Kubeflow Operator to quickly get Kubeflow up and running on their Kubernetes clusters. — 0:00 Intro 0:20 Talk — ? Gold Sponsor AWS ? It’s no surprise for seasoned users that Terraform was able to provision the most lower layers - compute - for a long while. Skipping a few layers in between, workload scheduler like Kubernetes is typically represented as the top one, exposing high-level APIs for scheduling and scaling pods, managing persistent volumes and restrictions & limits for scheduling. Terraform 0.10 comes with Kubernetes provider which supports all stable (v1) Kubernetes resources from K8S 1.6. In this talk you’ll hear about particular examples of where it’s useful to use Terraform for managing K8S resources, what benefits do you get compared to other solutions and demo gods permitting you’ll also see how to get from zero to an application running on K8S. -- If you liked this video and want to see more from HashiCorp, subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/HashiCorp?sub_confirmation=1 To learn more, visit our hands-on interactive lab environment, HashiCorp Learn: https://learn.hashicorp.com/ HashiCorp is the leader in multi-cloud infrastructure automation software.
