A lambda function is a small anonymous function. In Python, normal functions are defined using the “def” keyword, and anonymous functions are defined using the “lambda” keyword. So, anonymous functions are also called lambda functions. Lambda functions behave just like regular functions declared with the def keyword. In Python, an anonymous function is defined without a name. ⭕ Lambda functions can take any number of arguments, but can only have one expression. ⭕ Syntactically, lambda functions are restricted to only a single expression. This expression also knows as Lambda expressions or anonymous expressions. ⭕ A normal function object defined with def, Python lambda expressions support all the different ways of passing arguments.
