Commentary by customised AccouncerBot Mod currently in development, based on the original Streaming suite (available at race department). Once development is complete we should be able to release this Assetto Corsa mod to the public. The mod works on a script much of which is written in advance by AI. Then based on game events the mod chooses appropriate parts of the script which is then assembled with dynamic variables like driver names, or track corner names etc. The end result is then read out using googles tts service, to create a complete virtual TV production system that runs fully autonomously with no user input needed once running* *requires a dedicated pc / license for Assetto Corsa and any associated content to run live, also requires a Google account with a text to speech account and API key - Note TTS is a chargable service based on char usage, typically a couple of hours of racing per week comes within the free allowance, beyond which costs can increase quickly. May also require subscription or access to AI platform for script writing, but you can do it all yourself if you so desire and not use AI at all. Any costs may be subject to change. By defining personality traits for the AI prompt to generate script elements greatly increases realism of the presenters. It is also possible to rewrite the script to many languages allowing for localization, and many regional voices can be utilised. The mod is intended for small clubs to be able to live stream races where no human commentators are available, humans are always going to be better and this is in no way intended to replace them.
