How to increase the render distance past the 5 chunk limitation. In order to increase the chunk render distance in MinecraftVR on your Quest or Go, you need to modify the options.txt file found at the following location: games/com.mojang/vr/minecraftpe/options.txt Open it up and find the line that says "VR_RENDERDISTANCE" and you'll probably see it says "80" for the value if you have your chunk render distance set to 5. The value in this field is 16 per chunk, so if you want to set your render distance to 10 chunks, set this value to 160, then save the file. That's it! I would recommend for best performance to stay between 8 to 12 chunks max. Although I also recommend playing with this setting to your liking to see how it affects performance.
