Chisel is a personal favorite #MinecraftMod for me as it gives you tons and tons and tons of options to take your build to the next level. Whether you are looking for more wood, better floor patterns, or unique blocks that will make your builds look better than anyone else's, Chisel will allow you do to just that! So, let's go ahead and get Chisel installed! First and foremost, we need to download Chisel. You can find the Chisel download link the description above. You will also need the ConnectedTexturesMod and Forge in order to get Chisel installed. ConnectedTextures is required to get Chisel, and Forge is the mod loader that is required for Chisel to work in #Minecraft. After you have Forge, Chisel, and ConnectedTextures downloaded, you need to get them installed. This is super easy. Start off by opening Forge, and clicking install. You may need to download the Java JDK in order to get Java Platform SE Binary to allow you to open the file. Then, click install. After that, you just need to hit the windows key on your keyboard and 'r' at the same time. This will open up run. In this application, type '%appdata%', and hit enter. Your roaming folder will open. Go ahead and open up your .minecraft folder. After that, create a mods folder if you don't have one and open it. Just drag and drop Chisel and the ConnectedTexturesMod into this mods folder. Just like that, you have Chisel installed in Minecraft 1.12.2. Now, just make sure you start your Forge version in the Minecraft launcher, and have fun!
