In this situation, tusker has fallen to a well that is not used for a cultivation, but an abandoned well which is not closed properly after using for different purposes. Tuskers usually face this type of situations when they come with their herd to the village during drought season. At that time, herd might go back and only this tusker has remained. Such cases are reported as a result of the conflict between human and elephants. With the rapid incline of human population, people are hurry to clear the forest for their cultivation and construction needs. Then elephants lose their natural habitats and food. Therefore, they are tend to crash the village. Hence, people and elephants very often lose their lives and properties. People usually set trap gun, shoot and kill elephant. Also elephant face this type of risks. As a result of all these facts, the reported elephant mortality rates are high and the worst thing is elephants and tuskers are listed as endangered and at risk of extinction.But both elephant and tuskers are having a cultural value and beautifies the forest specially tuskers. So, regularly operated precautions should be taken to protect elephant and tuskers while the sustainable development programs are going on. On the following day, villagers noticed the incident and put some effort to rescue the tusker somehow although tuskers are usually aggressive. But it was very difficult as the tusker was so aggressive with the hunger and tiredness. Therefore, villagers are afraid to go so close to the tusker. Then, they inform about the case to the authorized wildlife officers. When they came, they plan how to rescue the tusker. So, they decided to make an inline path towards the forest using a JCB. If not, the tusker may run to the village and do some life damages too. Such cases can be happened and also already reported when rescuing elephants. The officers analyze the ideal cutting angle for the inline path. Meanwhile, the tusker tries to come back as it thinks people are going to hurt it. JCB made the pathway within few minutes. In the meantime, tusker is putting continuous effort to run away. After about 7minutes, tusker could come back. Although the path is clear, tusker just tries to turn back to village side. Therefore, officers set off fire crackers to guide the tusker to run towards the forest. But, people ask why it is and whether it may affect tusker’s hearing ability. But, it just does to motivate the tusker to go back to the forest. That is exactly what we see here. Actually, tusker in this case is lucky as it was seen by villagers and could save its life. But there may be so many such cases even not reported. So, the credit of saving tusker’s life, goes to entire wildlife team and villagers. Their collective collaboration helped to save the life of giant.
