(if you're curious, check out one of our Jams with Handpan and Harmonica/Blues Harp, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skUEDyKlg7o). ;-) Although it's for a special personal occasion, I thought it would be nice to share it and that it might also be interesting for some people fond of Zithers. ;-) For the tuning, I did that by ear but I was also helped by an electronic tuner to match the perfect pitch. This zither is from Germany, made many years ago by the best Zither builder in the world: Markneukirchen (which is also the name of the area where those instruments are built). It has 5 chords of 4 strings and 21 single strings. Here are all the notes: - Chords (for each, the main note, which is always a lower note, is the last one on the right in the written order, and it's played from right to left, with the left hand): • E/A/C#/(A), • D/A/F#/(D), • F/C/A/(F), • D/B/G/(G), • E/C/G/(C). - The single strings (based on C scale), played by the right hand with a string picker wrapped around the thumb (like for slide-guitar): • first octave: C, C#, D, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, B, C ... • second octave (higher): ..., C#, D, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, B, C. In this video, I also added a bit of slow motion at some points to see the strings vibrations. Zorunluluk diyorum çünkü o yaz hiç uzun yola gidememiştik ve Artvin bizim için köprüden önceki son çıkış olabilirdi. Kaçırılmaması gereken bir festivaldi, yoldu, kamptı... Biz de bu fırsatı kaçırmadık ve tüm hazırlıklarımızı yaparak yola koyulduk. 3 gün sürecek olan maceramızı bölümlere ayırmıştık. -İlk gün Trabzon'dan Hopa'ya kadar sürecektik ve o gece Hopa'da bulunan Kopmuş Plajı'nda kamp kuracaktık. Taşlık bir plajda kurulan kamp, yırtılan yatak, dalga sesleri ve durmayan yağmur... - İkinci gün Hopa'dan Artvin'e doğru muhteşem manzarası olan Cankurtaran Geçidi'nden geçecektik. Festivalin gerçekleşeceği alan olan Kafkasör Yaylası'nda kampımızı kurup eğlencenin doruklarına varacaktık. Müzik, dans, yarışlar, ödüller... - Üçüncü gün festivali bitirip dönüş yoluna koyulacaktık. Geldiğimiz yoldan dönmeyelim deyip Tortum Şelalesi'nde yüzerek Yusufeli ve Ovit üzerinden eve dönecektik. Tabi bu sırada aramızda hararetli dakikalar da yaşanacaktı. Kimisi sıcaktan bunalacaktı, kimisi yoldan, kimisi ise Tortum'dan... Bilinen tek şey vardı o da bu yol asla unutulmayacaktı. Bir Artvin macerası bitti. En önemlisi ise Allah'ın izni ile kazasız belasız eve dönebilmemizdi. Öyle ya da böyle kısa da olsa uzun yol yapmadan geçirmedik bu yazı diyebildik. 3 gün süren Artvin maceramız anılarımızda güzel bir yer edindi.
