Абхазия. В центре Нового Афона вдоль основной трассы Гагра-Сухум располагается большой красивый парк с несколькими озерами, лебедями, утками, статуями, вольерами для страусов и тропической зеленью. Координаты парка 43.085279, 40.815917. Построили парк монахи, основавшие Новоафонский монастырь, разбили его у подножия горы Афон. В 1880 году на территории парка было вырыто 7 прудов, питаемых водами реки Псырцхи. Максимальная глубина прудов - 1,5 метра, дно и стены выложены каменной плиткой. Вода в прудах кристально чистая, проточная. В своё время, монахи разводили здесь для нужд братии карпов, карасей, кефаль. Вокруг прудов монахами Новоафонского монастыря были посажены тополя, плакучие ивы и пальмы, над прудами были сооружены арочные мосты. В парке не только можно посидеть отдохнуть, покормить птиц или погулять и пофотографироваться, но и хорошо покушать. Подробности можно прочитать в моих социальных сетях.
